The Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center is a partnership between the New Orleans Public Library and the Broadmoor Improvement Association which serves the Broadmoor community by providing residents with a gathering space for free programs, meetings, and valuable educational resources.

The Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center offers a wide collection of books, music, and movies, and hosts many programs for children, teens, and adults.

Notary public services are offered free every week. Volunteer run, our community members help other community members. We recommend calling the library at 504-596-2660 ahead of time to confirm a volunteer will be in attendance. Notary services are not available to businesses. Limited to 5 stamps per person. DID YOU KNOW: Americans throw out over 36 million tons of food waste each year. Once in landfills, food breaks down to produce methane, a potent greenhouse gas which contributes to climate change. Now, you can bring your frozen food scraps to our weekly food waste drop-off locations at New Orleans Public Library and Schmelly’s Dirt Farm will pick it up and turn it into nutrient-rich compost! PLEASE FREEZE YOUR FOOD SCRAPS - no smell, no fruit flies, no rodents We will accept fruit and vegetable scraps (peels, skins, pits or seeds), tea bags and coffee grounds (including paper filter), eggshells, nutshells, seed shells; plain bread, grains and pasta (no toppings). Please bring in a paper or compostable bag, or a reusable container. NO MEAT, NO DAIRY, NO BONES, NO OILY FOODS. Questions? Want to volunteer?
